The Facility
|
The WSU Heskett Center gym has 5 full sized basketball courts, an indoor track and permanent bleachers. We use the 3 center courts for competition and a fourth court for 2 awards areas. Concessions and bathrooms are adjacent to the gym. It is a spacious and comfortable place to host a meet. The size of the facility allows us to run 2 meets at once. Girls/girls or girls/boys. We have hosted 21 meets in this facility, including three USAG Regional Championships, and have heard nothing but good comments from past participants.

The Awards
|
We break large age groups into smaller age groups and give out many more awards than required by USAG. We give custom medals and every all-around champion in the meet will receive our ALL-AROUND CHAMPION grip bag with the meet logo and "All-around Champion" printed on it. These are really cool for the gymnasts, because if you have one, you’ve earned it. Return to Top

The Competition
|
The 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008 NYI’s each had nearly 1100 gymnasts entered from across the Midwest. It’s a great opportunity for boys and girls to see each other compete rather than just train in the gym. If you have boys and girls, you will love our format. Return to Top

Coaches Hospitality
|
PALS of Gymnastics keeps the coaches room stocked with food all weekend. They will have meals at mealtime and snacks the rest of the time. This room is close to the competition and will make the traditional "long weekend" very easy on coaches. Did I mention the 2 TV’s, each with cable. January means football and we keep up with all the games. Return to Top
