DIANE SCHAUS AND RACHAEL MORRISON WIN REGIONAL GYMNASTICS TITLES
Diane Schaus and Rachael Morrison, both from Folger's Gymnastics, won uneven bars and balance beam
respectively at the USA Gymnastics Region Three Championships in Norman, Oklahoma, April 17th. Region
Three is comprised of seven states including powerhouses Texas and Oklahoma. Diane Schaus, a freshman
at Andover High School, scored 9.4 to win the bar title. In addition to winning bars, Diane placed
fifth in the all around, seventh on floor, eleventh on vault and fifteenth on beam. Rachael Morrison,
a home schooled student from Derby, scored 9.775 to claim the beam title and placed seventh all around,
tenth on bars and eleventh on floor. Both girls qualified for the level nine National
Championships in St. Louis May 6-8, 2005.

SARAH BRILLHART QUALIFIES FOR USA GYMNASTICS LEVEL 10 NATIONALS
Sarah Brillhart, from Folger's Gymnastics, placed fourth in the all around at the USA Gymnastics
Region Three Championships in Norman, Oklahoma, April 16th. Sarah, an eight grader at Maize
South Middle School, is a first year level ten gymnast. This is the third year in a row Sarah has
qualified for the National Championships. She competed in the level nine nationals in 2003
and 2004. In addition to placing fourth all around, Sarah placed tenth on vault, second on bars,
fifth on beam and thirteenth on floor. In March Sarah claimed the unofficial title of "best
gymnast in Kansas"; by winning the level 10 all around title at the Kansas State Meet. She
will be competing in the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic National Championships May 13-15 in Ontario,
California.

FOLGER'S GYMNASTICS QUALIFIES EIGHT GIRLS TO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
In a record setting performance at the USA Gymnastics Region
Three Championships, Folger’s Gymnastics, qualified eight
gymnasts to National Championships. This is by far the largest
group of national qualifiers from a Wichita area gym in over
twenty years. To earn a spot at nationals, each girl had to
place high enough in the all around in her age group. Level
ten's had to be in the top seven girls. Level nine's
had to place in the top twelve to top twenty depending on age
group and how many girls compete in that age group nationwide.
Region Three consists of teams from Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado,
Kansas, New Mexico, Arkansas and Wyoming. Here are the Folger's
